The fragrant red scotch bonnet is truly the star of this fiery Indian pickle. Its savoury flavour blending in perfectly with the traditional, dry and aromatic, mustard-heavy spices, while providing a sudden, yet long lingering, deep burn. The strongest and sharpest in our entire pickle range, especially with the help of its acidic dash of lemon.
An excellent companion to any curry, for those who like it hot, but also a perfect fit for the base of an achari-style one. Or mix it with yoghurt to marinade meats of all kinds.
